The Dangerous Good Advisory Council Presents: HMT-150 Initial Multi-Modal Transportation of DG
October 14-18, 2013, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

To service the multitude of dangerous goods shippers that utilize Calcasieu Ship Channel, we are hosting an initial multi‑modal training in Lake Charles, Louisiana October 14-18, 2013 at the Institute for Industry-Education Collaboration.  Located at 500 Beauregard Drive, this recently opened location is designed for industry employees to receive professional development in a state of the art location and eliminate the need for overnight travel.  Instruction will focus on non-bulk packages and provide instruction on how to best utilize the 49CFR (US Hazardous Materials Regulations), the DGR, the most widely used document for shipping by air and the IMDG Code, utilized for vessel shipments. This training is competitively priced and we are also offering discounted registrations for multiple employees attending from the same company.

This conveniently located facility near Interstate 10 is within driving distance of Houston, New Orleans, and all areas in‑between, making it perfect for employees that want to avoid attending training that would involve a flight. If you have any other questions or need assistance in registering, contact Charmaine or Nsonye (Sony) at 202-289-4550 and they will take care of you.
