Why should bankers participate in training?
In Southwest Louisiana, business is growing. The importance of a good banker/client relationship is critical. As a banker in Southwest Louisiana, you continuously need the ability to make appropriate banking and lending evaluations. Your appropriate evaluations are based on many factors. Some of the factors are quantitative, accounting-data related to the operations and status of your client, some factors are valuation issues related to your client's assets, and some are related to knowledge of your client's activities and history. While this series of training sessions cannot cover every lending factor, the sessions will cover numerous topics which can be useful and helpful.
These training sessions are scheduled on four meeting dates. Each session will address, in oral discussions, questions-answers, cases and exercises, topics of day-to-day, practical interests. The topics will be basic and will not require advanced knowledge or advanced preparation. Attendance at all four sessions will enhance a person's banking knowledge, and they do not necessarily build upon prior classes; so, each could be attended independent of prior meetings.
