Computer Based Training Program
The Comprehensive Public Training Program (CPTP) is the state-funded training program for state employees. The CPTP is under the Department of State Civil Service as the sponsor of the training program. CPTP conducts the Mandatory Training Program for certain Supervisors designated to receive training through State Civil Service Rules. CPTP also offers to agencies and state employees, who are not mandated to training through Civil Service rule, optional training in many different areas. All state employees both classified and unclassified are eligible to participate in appropriate classes with permission and approval by the agency CPTP coordinator. The CPTP Coordinator for McNeese State University is Benita Malbrough. Benita may be contacted at bmalbrough@mcneese.edu or by phone at (337) 475-5362. Her office is located in Smith Hall, Room 109.
