McNeese State University invites qualified applicants and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Management, Marketing, and General Business Administration. This is a full-time, unclassified, tenure-track, nine-month position. The appointment begins August 2008.
Position Description and Responsibilities: The Assistant Professor of Management is responsible for functions related to teaching, research, and service. This person will work closely with departmental, college, and university faculty and staff to serve students and other university and community constituents.
Qualifications: Required: PhD, DBA, or ABD from AACSB-accredited university in an appropriate field of management; demonstration/evidence of effective teaching; demonstration/evidence of research record and/or ability to do scholarly publishing. Preferred:willingness and ability to teach human resources management and other business courses—quantitative, global.
General Information: McNeese State University, located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is a public university and a member of the University of Louisiana System. Salary: $80,000 to $85,000
