McNeese State University invites qualified applicants and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology. This is a full-time, 9 month, unclassified, tenure-track position. The appointment is available in August 2008.

Position Description and Responsibilities: The Assistant Professor is responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervision in our master’s level concentrations in applied behavior analysis, addictions treatment, and counseling psychology, along with advising. The Assistant Professor will work closely with faculty and students in the Department of Psychology.

Qualifications: Required: Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, license eligible in Louisiana, training and interest in Applied Behavior Analysis. Preferred: Ability to contribute to accreditation of Department’s master’s level concentration in applied behavior analysis.

General Information: McNeese State University, located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is a public university and a member of the University of Louisiana System. Salary: $49,000.00
