Minimum Required Qualifications: A baccalaureate degree plus three years of professional level experience in computer systems programming; or in systems, database, or network enterprise system support (hardware or software level). Job Related Duties: Meet with end users to determine needs, design systems, write specifications, and code programs. Evaluate end user requests for changes and determine specific tasks and effects on existing programs and systems. Design, code, compile, test, debug, modify and document new or existing highly complex applications programs within accepted standards, procedures and guidelines. Maintain highly critical production systems by identifying, researching and resolving program, machine, data or applications software problems, frequently interacting with other employees, supervisors or users. Provide technical advice, assistance or guidance to employees less experienced or familiar with a specific programming language or application. Evaluate and analyze requests for enhancements or development projects. Prepare program specifications or test procedures. Analyze changes, enhancements and/or application designs to ensure data integrity and availability.
