McNeese State University invites qualified applicants and nominations for the position of Associate of Auxiliary Accounting in the Department of Administrative Accounting.  This is a full-time, 12-month, unclassified position.  The appointment is available immediately.

Position Description and Responsibilities:  The Associate of Auxiliary Accounting is responsible for functions related to analyzing and reconciling all auxiliary account revenues and expenditures utilizing Ellucian Banner software and Microsoft Excel.

The Associate of Auxiliary Accounting:

  • Locates and corrects journalizing and posting errors
  • Coordinates analytical work with budget office
  • Prepares Athletic inventory analysis
  • Prepares NCAA and EADA Gender Equity reports
  • Reconciles all Athletic ticket sale revenues to general ledger
  • Verifies all Athletic travel reimbursements for compliance
  • Assumes any and all duties assigned by the Comptroller

Qualifications:
 

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution
  • Two years of related experience and/or training
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel 

Preferred
:  
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
 

Salary:   $36,000.00
