Master of Education in Educational Leadership

Admission 

A potential candidate must be admitted into the Dore' School of Graduate Studies.
To be admitted to the MEd in Educational Leadership program, the following additional requirements must be met.
  • A candidate must hold a current valid teaching certificate.
    • A temporary teaching certificate is not acceptable.
  • A candidate must have three successful years of teaching experience at the time of admission.
  • A candidate must also achieve at least the minimum indicated score in the appropriate formula below:
    • Minimum formula score of 1100 if the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) was taken prior to September 1, 2011 using the 200-800 score scale.
      • The formula is calculated as follows:
    • Undergraduate GPA * 150 + GRE (Verbal and Quantitative)>= 1100
    • Minimum formula score of 740 if the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) was taken after September 1, 2011 using the 130-170 score scale.
      • The formula is calculated as follows:
    • Undergraduate GPA *150 + GRE (Verbal and Quantitative)>= 740
