Who is my advisor?
Advisors are assigned based on the major that was selected on your application. If you wish to change your major, you may go to www.mcneese.edu/gbst/video-tutorials and select the video on How to Schedule an Appointment. This video will show you who your new advisor will be and guide you through the steps necessary to make an appointment with your new advisor.
When should I see my advisor?
Advising and registration for the summer/fall semester will take place in early April and by mid-October for spring. Check www.mcneese.edu for registration information.
How can I make an appointment to see my advisor?
Please go to the McNeese web page at www.mcneese.edu/gbst and then follow these instructions.
Select Basic Studies under Select Department/College. All freshmen {with the exception of students pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Nursing (2 year program)} will go through Basic Studies for advising
