ENGLISH: English 101

MATHEMATICS: Math 113 or above and one additional 3-hour course in mathematics or statistics |

NATURAL SCIENCES: Course work must include both biological and physical sciences. Six hours must be earned in a single biological or physical science area; the remaining 3 hours must be earned in a science area other than that previously selected. A 6-hour sequence is recommended. Biological sciences include biology, microbiology and environmental science. Physical sciences include chemistry, physical science, physics, geology, and environmental science. |

HUMANITIES: Foreign language (above intro-level), philosophy, religious studies, history, speech, literature and women’s studies. At least 3 hours must be at the 200 level or above |

FINE ARTS: Art, music, dance or theatre. |
