How to Appeal Academic Suspension and Financial Aid Ineligibility

The academic suspension and federal financial aid appeal processes have been combined. Submitted appeals will be reviewed by each academic college's committee. Students who need to appeal will be notified at the end of each term via McNeese email. Instructions for submitting appeals are listed below:
  1. Gather your supporting documentation and have it in an electronic format, so that you can upload it to your appeal. You will not be able to save your appeal and attach supporting documentation at a later date. You are limited to five attachments at 1 MB each and can only upload files with the following extensions: .pdf, .doc, .txt, .tif, .gif, .bmp, .jgp, .png, .htm, and .html.
  2. Go to Banner Self-Service and log in.
  3. Click on the Student or Financial Aid tab and then click on Appeal Request - Financial Aid and Academic Suspension.
  4. Select the term for which you wish to appeal.
