Welcome Message from the Department Head

On behalf of our faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to the Engineering Technology Department at McNeese State University. Whether you are a student, parent, graduate, or just curious, I hope you find our website helpful and informative.

This is a wonderful time to consider a career in Engineering Technology. We offer three concentrations, Electronics, Instrumentation, and Process Plant. Industry demand for personnel in these fields is on the rise. Our laboratory and classroom facilities are being renovated and improved with state of the art technology. Our courses are continuously evaluated and revised to ensure the most appropriate content and instructional methods. The faculty truly deliver education with a personal touch. We are dedicated to providing the skills needed for student success in the field. It is truly an exciting time to be part of McNeese's engineering technology family, and even better times are yet to come.
