Notary Exam Prep Course - McNeese Electronic Learning

McNeese State University Electronic Learning Department and the LSU Shreveport Continuing Education Department will present a Notary Public Exam Prep course. The dates for this course will be Saturdays, March 3, 10, 17, 24 (skip March 31 and April 7), April 14, 21, 28, May 5, 2012 from 1:00-5:00pm. The price of this course held on McNeese campus in Farrar Hall, Room 327 through compressed video will be $289 in addition to you purchasing your text book. You may register online before February 28, 2012 at the LSU Shreveport Continuing Education website or by calling 318-797-5311.

In this course you will be given a specific review of the subjects tested on the Notary Exam using either texts from the most current Edition of the “Louisiana Civil Code,” 2-volume publication by Thomson/West, edited by A.N. Yiannopoulos. This book may be purchased at the LSU-S Bookstore for $171.00 plus tax (price is subject to change) for the set. Their telephone number is 318-797-5212.

Also required is the most current edition “Notary Public Official Study Guide.” This study guide is available for $90 through the Secretary of State's Office, the publisher. Order forms are accepted by mail, fax or email. Complete and return the Notary Public Study Guide Order Form with appropriate payment (check, money order or credit card), and the book will be mailed to you. Order forms are available at the Louisiana Secretary of State's website. PLEASE bring books with you on first day of class.
