This dental assistant certification on-line program will teach the aspiring dental assistant, administrative tasks which include managing all business aspects of a dental practice such as scheduling, billing, and purchasing. This course will include instruction in dental terminology and anatomy, medical records management, accounts receivable and reimbursement management, insurance and patient billing, patient scheduling, and procedural and diagnostic coding. The Administrative Medical Specialist with Medical Billing and Coding will give you the skills you need to find the job YOU are looking for as an Administrative Medical Specialist (AMS), Medical Billing Specialist, and/or Medical Coder. Advanced Coding for the Physician's Office

Continuous changes in the medial billing and coding industry and HIPAA changes have created an incredible demand for those trained in coding. The Advanced Coding for the Physician's Office course is designed for students with previous coding experience, a basic coding education, or the GES Administrative Medical Specialist course. CPT, ICD-9-CM (Volumes I and II), and HCPCS Level II Coding will be covered along with information on the Correct Coding Initiative (CCI), compliance and reimbursement issues, E&M guidelines, and much more. AutoCAD 2007

AutoCAD is an essential tool in many industries, including mechanical and civil engineering and architecture. Employers seek workers skilled in AutoCAD more than any other CAD system. The course takes a systematic approach to learning AutoCAD. This course starts by teaching the basic skills needed to create and edit simple drawings and gradually introduces tools that are more advanced. The examples and practice exercises are adapted from a variety of industries where AutoCAD is used, including mechanical designs, architectural floor plans, schematic diagrams, and civil site plans.

Due to AutoDesk’s release of the new AutoCAD 2009 program, the AutoCAD 2007 software is no longer available for purchase. We will no longer be able to provide AutoCAD 2007 software to students. Effective immediately, we have lowered the price of the AutoCAD 2007 course by $200 and will require all students to provide their own software, or have access to the software to perform course assignments.

Coding, Documentation and Reimbursement for Physicians

Coding Reimbursement Documentation for Physicians (CRDP) is designed to teach physicians how to maximize their reimbursement by emphasizing proper coding and compliance. This course will provide the skills doctors need to obtain optimal reimbursement for the services they perform. By completing this course, physicians will learn about medical necessity, bundled services, modifiers, and efficient ways to be compliant while getting the maximum reimbursement due for services performed. CompTIA Linux+/ Linux Professional Institute Level One Certification Preparation

Linux+ is an entry-level certificate program, developed by CompTIA™, which measures vendor-neutral Linux knowledge and skills for an individual with at least six months practical experience (Network+ or A+ background). The online Linux+ Certification Preparation course will prepare students to write the CompTIA™ Linux+ exam. Linux Professional Institute Certification Training was developed by the Linux Professional Institute to provide a useable, common measurement of Linux skills. Students taking these courses will learn the fundamentals of the Linux operating system including how to configure Linux system services, how to manage a Linux system in a networked environment, and finally, how to manage the servers a Linux system provides. CompTIA Network+/Server+ Certification

The CompTIA™ Network+ certification is the worldwide standard of competency for professionals with nine months experience in network support or administration. The Network + certification validates technical competency in networking administration and support. This certification is geared toward those with nine months field experience in network administration and support. The demand for skilled network support professionals has grown significantly. The technology community identifies Network+ as the perfect entry point into a networking career. Server+ certification is a standard of competency for mid- to upper-level technicians responsible for server hardware functionality. The Server+ certification credential validates advanced-level technical competency of server issues and technology, including installation, configuration, upgrading, maintenance, troubleshooting and disaster recovery. This certification is geared toward mid- to upper-level technicians. The demand for skilled hardware support professionals has grown significantly and candidates as well as the industry have indicated that a foundation-level certification for this job function is necessary.

CompTIA Security+ Certification

Security+ is a two part course that maps to CompTIA's Security+ certification. Part One covers Network Security. Students capture, analyze, and generate IP traffic, exploit protocol weaknesses, examine defensive solutions, install, configure, and test a powerful NIDS solution, and create a Linux based router/firewall solution. Part Two is Host Security. A broad range of general security techniques such as packet filtering, password policies, and file integrity checking are covered. Special attention is given to securing network services common to each platform.

Digital Arts Certificate

The Digital Arts Course program focuses on developing technical skill and creative artistry in digital photography and imaging. Students learn professional applications for Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent digital imaging and vector drawing tools. ICD-10 Medical Coding: Preparation and Instruction for Implementation

ICD-10 is a radically upgraded diagnostic and procedural medical coding system, and will soon be mandated by the Federal government for use in the healthcare industry in insurance processing, reimbursement, and statistical data gathering. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator

Effective immediately, all students who register for the Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) program will be registered in the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist program. Microsoft has replaced the MCDBA certification track with the new MCTS certification.

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator 2003

This MCSA certification program provides expert instruction on the Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 family, making it easier to deploy, manage, and use. Microsoft Certified System Administrator Plus 2003

A four-course program, MCSA 2003+ is for those that hold one of the following third-party certifications or certification combinations: Security+ Certification, A+ and Network+ certifications or A+ and Server+ certifications. The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) can successfully implement, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows server-based operating systems in addition to systems that contain messaging services, file and print servers, and firewalls. Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SQL Server 2005 (MCTS)

Technology Specialists typically pursue careers as database administrators, database developers, or business intelligence developers. Multi-Media Design Certification

The Multimedia Course focuses on providing the conceptual, technical, and visual design skills required to create multimedia applications and environments. Students learn professional applications for Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects, or equivalent digital imaging, animation, digital video editing, and motion graphics tools. Course projects include critique, storyboarding, retouching, compositing, Flash animation and site design, basic Action-Scripting, video and sound editing principles, motion graphics production, and interface design.

Pharmacy Technician

This online program will provide learning experiences, coordinated with the texts and lab activities to enable students to obtain basic competency needed for employments as Pharmacy Technicians in either the hospital or retail setting. A technician is an individual who, under the supervision of a pharmacist, assists in the performance of activities of the pharmacy department not requiring the professional judgment of a pharmacist. Six Sigma Blackbelt

The Black Belt training program integrates online learning with hands-on data analysis. The course material provides an in-depth look at the DMAIC problem-solving methodology, as well as deployment and project development approaches.
