Engineering and Mathematics Education
Initiative. It is a National Science
Foundation sponsored program inaugurated in
September 2005.

Com-STEM is a
creative and original partnership between
McNeese State University (Lake Charles, LA),
Louisiana State University at Eunice (Eunice,
LA), and Lamar State College - Orange (Orange,
TX). |
Why was Com-STEM
established?

Com-STEM was
established in order to increase the number of
students graduating with associate and bachelor
degrees as well as the number of students
transferring from two to four-year institutions
in the STEM disciplines. |
How is Com-STEM
administered?

faculty driven effort within the
