Lamar State College - Orange

Mr. Larry Wilmore is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Lamar State College – Orange.  He graduated from Lamar University with a B.S. degree in Biology.  He earned an M.S. degree in Zoology from Ohio State University.  He taught as a graduate assistant at Ohio State University and later was an adjunct at Lamar University in the biology department before coming to Lamar State College - Orange.  His primary teaching interests are in anatomy and physiology and health.  He also has a M.Ed. degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.  His other interests are in student success.  He has developed an extensive seminar program involving various study skills topics that both he and several other faculty deliver on campus.
