Dr. Grace Cascio-Houston is a Professor of Mathematics and Division Head of the Sciences Division at Louisiana State University at Eunice.  Currently, she is serving as Interim Division Head for Nursing and Allied Health.  She joined LSUE in January of 2001.  She holds a B. S. and an M. S. in Mathematics from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Ph. D. in Statistics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  Before joining LSUE, Dr. Cascio-Houston was an Academic Dean at Georgia Perimeter College in Atlanta, Georgia.  In addition to teaching Mathematics and Statistics in Georgia and Louisiana, Dr. Cascio-Houston has also taught at the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Dr. Cascio-Houston is active in professional organizations and is currently a liaison representing LSUE with the Louisiana-Mississippi section of the Mathematical Association of America; she is chair of the Necrology Committee of the Louisiana-Mississippi section; and has served as International Chair (in Atlanta, 2000 and New Orleans, 2001) and member of the Executive Steering Committee for the International Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics.  She has presented numerous workshops to various groups and has been invited to serve as a keynote speaker for various mathematics groups.
