Professional Interests – Wetland management and ecology, sustained natural resource development, personal education and career development of wildlife management students. Educational Philosophy – My education philosophy is based upon helping each student discover his or her dreams and become a successful young wildlife management professional. We strive to develop individual careers and abilities that lead to success in the global natural resource industry. In the classroom and field laboratory, the student evolves into a self-starting, life-long learner who meets challenges with a positive outlook and a strong personal belief that any issue can be resolved. Our basic theory of the wildlife management curriculum is the use of the scientific method to systematically explain natural phenomenon and prepare wildlife management plans. Through this methodology, the young wildlife professional is prepared to enter the wildlife management industry in the academic, public, and private employment sectors. In closing, my personal motto’s reflect on my life experiences, which are Semper Fidelis (always faithful) and Sine Labor Nil (without work nothing). |
