• Introduction to techniques of engineering drafting
• Introduction to AutoCAD LT, including screen layout, creating layout sheets and drawings, modifying drawings, and plotting of drawings
• Adding text to drawings
• Creating orthographic projections
• Creating section views
• Dimensioning drawings
• Creating isometric and oblique drawings
• Working with paper space, scaling, title blocks, and scales
• Creating contours and profiles
• Drawing applications for piping system, land development, and engineering design
• Exporting drawings using dxf, pdf, jpeg, and other formats
• Additional topics and projects may include Google Earth, Sketchup, Solid Works and other programs for students wanting to complete projects in those areas.
