McNeese students of all majors and classifications, as well as alumni, can participate. Graduating seniors seeking to develop job leads, as well as those seeking internships and part-time employment, are encouraged to bring resumes and be dressed appropriately.
“Good preparation and presentation are essential for getting that first job but also for establishing the groundwork for a great career,” said Kathy Bond, career services director. “The fair is a valuable resource to use as a ‘dress rehearsal’ before the real interview.”
She said underclassmen can also take advantage of this opportunity on campus. “It is a good first step to not only network and make that initial contact face to face with prospective employers and representatives but to also obtain information and ask relevant questions about their field of interest and future opportunities,” explained Bond.
Sponsors for the spring fair include: Chevron, IBERIABANK, Intralox, Invista, Northwestern Mutual, Sasol, Shaw, Walmart and Westlake Chemical Corp.
