Student Organizations

Student organizations are a key part of the collegiate experience. Studies consistently demonstrate involved students are more likely to persist toward graduation, are more satisfied with their time in college, and develop leadership and life skills that complement their classroom knowledge. Being involved in campus organizations also benefits students as employers look to hire those who have demonstrated leadership, commitment, and excellence both inside and outside of the classroom.

We have a long history of student involvement at McNeese and are excited about our 100+ registered organizations.  We feel no matter what your interested in you will find others who share your passion. If we do not already have what you are looking for then the process to start your own recognized organization is a simple and straightforward one.

Interested in joining a student organization?
If you are interested in joining a student organization inquire with a current member of the organization you are interested in, or visit the Student Union Office, located upstairs in the New Ranch. Memberships in some groups only require a sign-up process while others may require certain classification and GPA. Each organization has a constitution with a posted set of membership standards.
