McNeese State University will host a Parents Weekend Oct. 7-8.
“This weekend is a great way for parents to connect with their student and enjoy what McNeese has to offer,” said Kedrick Nicholas, Assistant Dean of Student Services.
The weekend begins with an illusionist show by Wayne Hoffman from 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Student Union.
Saturday’s schedule includes: breakfast with McNeese President Philip Williams and academic deans at 9 a.m. in the Student Union; a student tailgate, with meal included, from 2-6:30 p.m. in Lot E at Cowboy Stadium; and the McNeese vs. Texas State football game at 7 p.m. in Cowboy Stadium.
In addition, the University Bookstore is open for parents and students to shop for McNeese gear from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Registration for the weekend is $35 per family member and $10 for McNeese students. The registration fee includes the Friday night show, a T-shirt, the two meals and a football game ticket.
