Andrew Armand of Lake Charles is the Campus Life Student of the Month for January.

The campus Leadership Committee gives this monthly award to a student who has shown outstanding campus involvement while maintaining exemplary academic standards.
 
Andrew is a sophomore nursing major with a 3.7 GPA. He is a Blue and Gold Peer Leader, the co-curricular and cultural coordinator for the Student Union Board, a senator in the Student Government Association, an Honors College recipient and a member of the NAACP and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
