CALL - Management

CALL programs are instituted by the Board of Regents of the University of Louisiana System, and implemented by University Campuses across the State of Louisiana. McNeese State University now offers an online baccalaureate degree in Management through the Center for Adult Learning in Louisiana (CALL) Program. Private and public-sector organizations need good managers, and increasingly managers with degrees advance more rapidly and to higher levels than employees with no college degree.

The CALL Program allows adult learners the opportunity to pursue their degree online without putting their lives on hold. CALL allows adult learners to take advantage of two 8-week sessions within a regular semester and some three-week sessions as well as six-week sessions during the summer. This allows students to earn credits each session during the semester while only having to concentrate on one or two classes at the same time. The online courses allow students to access class information and assignments when and where they choose.

Pursue the management degree you always intended to complete. The McNeese State University College of Business, accredited by AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), offers the Bachelor's degree in Management. The program, 120 hours of credit (or "40 courses) is designed for adult learners who may not be able to come to campus for classes. Rather, the online format presents classes in an eight-week format of assignments and study that can be completed from virtually any location.

Required courses cover all the business areas: Accounting, economics, finance, global business, management, business ethics and law, operations management, and marketing. AACSB accreditation means that classes will be taught mostly by PhD's in the business discipline-PhD's who have published scholarly work in their field.

Admission into CALL is reserved for non-traditional students (25 years of age and over), or students who have difficulty balancing job and family with school. See Admission Requirements for more information.

Through the CALL program, you will be on the fast-track to complete your degree through on-line classes and services, accelerated course delivery, and Prior Learning Assessment.
