Social Skills Groups

Social Skills Groups are held three times per week during after school hours. Social Skills Groups are 90 minutes long and vary in size with no more than 8 children per group. Each child is evaluated to identify needed skills before placement in a group. Children participate in specialized activities that develop the skills needed to be successful in social situations. Skills emphasized include verbal skills, friendship skills, cooperation skills, interactive play, along with reductions in inappropriate social behavior.
