Pediatric feeding problems are characterized by inadequate oral intake of food, food refusal, expelling or packing of food in the mouth, or pronounced selectivity by type or texture of food. Treatment for pediatric feeding problems is conducted daily as an outpatient (1-3 hrs) or intensive day treatment (5-7 hrs).
