Foundation announces new officers

The McNeese State University Foundation Board of Directors has elected new officers for 2013. 

Judy Fuller will serve as president, Patricia Prebula, vice president and president-elect, James E. Taussig, treasurer, and Willie Mount, secretary.

Tom Henning, Willie S. King Jr., Ben Marriner, Dr. Lee J. Monlezun Jr., Willie Mount, William E. Rose and Taussig were elected to serve three-year terms on the McNeese Foundation Board of Directors.

"We are grateful to outgoing president Bob Davidson for his service on the board and the time he has given to McNeese and the foundation. Judy Fuller is an engaged and dedicated board member with a passion for supporting McNeese," said Richard Reid, McNeese vice president for university advancement and executive vice president of the foundation.

Foundation donors vote to elect officers and board members from current donors. The McNeese Foundation was incorporated in 1965 with the primary mission of raising funds to support endowments for student scholarships. Currently, the McNeese Foundation has more than 350 endowed scholarships providing stipends to more than 550 students. The foundation also supports faculty research through 108 endowed professorships and other critical university needs.
