Aug. 24 is the deadline to pre-register for this event. Cost is $30 per person and the registration form and reunion information can be found online at www.mcneesealumni.com/ROTC .
Events planned include a campus bus tour on Friday afternoon and an evening reception in Parra Ballroom of the Student Union Annex on campus, with heavy hors d'oeuvres featuring Southwest Louisiana cuisine.
Two former McNeese students who were Medal of Honor recipients and two McNeese graduates who obtained the rank of General will also receive special recognition that night.
On Saturday, the McNeese Alumni and Petrochem Athletic Booster Club will host the reunion participants at the Tailgate Party held in the Alumni Grove.
Following the tailgate, attendees will sit together at the McNeese Military Appreciation Football Game. The Cowboys will open the 2012 home season against the War Hawks of McMurry University and reunion members will be recognized on the field during the game.
