McNeese Fall Preview Day - Saturday, October 21, 2017

We at McNeese State University invite you to a campus-wide open house for prospective students and their families.
During this one day event, you can meet faculty & staff, tour the dorms, visit the student union and bookstore and see what McNeese has to offer you. You can also learn more about our colleges and majors, get information about admission and pick up some financial aid and scholarship information, too. Bring your family and friends, and we'll see you Saturday, October 21, 2017.
This event has different sessions, campus tours, and housing tours that you choose when you would like to attend.

Housing tours will be hosted between 1-3pm. Tours will leave from the Housing Lobby (number 21 on the campus map). Please plan for a 15-minute wait for a room tour. 
Admissions Admissions Information
Meet an admissions counselor and apply for college in the a location TBA.  
Bookstore  The McNeese University Bookstore, located near the student union, will be open from 10am-5pm.


McNeese Athletic Events

Students that attend Fall Preview Day will receive free entry to the Homecoming football game
McNeese vs. Incarnate Word
Parents/Guardians will have to purchase tickets at the Field House.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend?
Fall Preview Day is a campus wide Open House. There will be programs that will appeal to young and old alike. Prospective students, former students, and anyone wishing to learn more about McNeese State University will want to come.

Do I need to register?
Please register online to attend. Online registration is recommended, but on-site registration will also take place.

What does it cost?
Fall Preview Day is free, but you will want to bring money to shop at the McNeese bookstore.

Can I meet with an admissions counselor while on campus?
Admission counselors will be available in the Quad area to answer your questions. There will also be a computer lab open for students to talk to an admissions counselor and apply to college. 

Are campus tours available and do I need to register for a tour?
General campus tours will be available. Registration for campus tours are not required. Check the schedule for times and meeting locations. Please arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled tour.

Do I need to check-in at any particular location?
Yes, there will be student registration check-in but the location is TBA. 

Where are the sessions located?
Sessions are located in various buildings throughout campus.  Please review the "Schedule of Events" and review the location for each session on our campus map
